Do you sometimes find it hard to vocalize what emotion you are currently feeling? Some words we know and use a lot, such as happy, sad, frustrated, excited … but there are others. This list, which I will add to helps us to take a wider view of how we are feeling.
What can be helpful is to go through this list and make a note of any that you can easily identify with and use. Then maybe, to think about alternative ones that you could use, and they may be a better fit? Try them on for size, play with them and broaden your range of positive emotions.
