Every thought about what motivates you? Here’s some questions to get you thinking, and it will help you to assess how happy you are in your current company.

How do you want to be managed? What style suits you best (Top down? Involving?)
How important is it to have good supervision?
How much acknowledgement, praise etc do you want?
How important is power and status to you?
Do you seek public recognition or fame?
How would you like to be perceived by others in respect of your career?
Do you care what other people will think of you when they find out what you do?
Do you need to be allowed autonomy?
Do you want to be able to take responsibility?
To what extent do you work for an organisation that supports the person you naturally are?
It can be worth thinking thorugh these questions, let me know how you get on.

I’d love to know what you think and it would be brilliant to hear your views either below or on my facebook page – I think it is so much more interactive than on a blog. If you aren’t already linked to me on FaceBook here is the link: www.facebook.com/amazingpeopleUK
