Last weekend I was one of the speakers at the 50+ show. There was lots going on related to investments, holidays, health and hobbies. I was asked to talk in connection with my latest book, Find Work at 50+

My talk went really well, the seminar theatre was full and lots of people came up to me afterwards and told me the talk was inspirational and bought my book. It was good for me too, I don't seek out speaking opportunities as I get very nervous. But my nerves were kept in check and I sought to inspire people.

I had decided to change the focus from getting a new job with talks of revising CVs and interviewing tips and staying motivated to a broader discussion on why we might want to continue to work, different options such as taking a low stress/low paid job to creating a business and also considering selling things on eBay and gigs on www.fiverr.com

In the next couple of weeks I will run the session online as a webinar, but I'm struggling to get the software to work properly. But i will get it sorted and then I'll let you know.
